Hadoop was originally developed by Apache Software Foundation and is an integral part of Big Data technology. It is widely used to store and analyze very large amounts of data that might not be processed properly in a traditional database. Hadoop comes with various tools such as MapReduce, HDFS, and YARN that enable organizations to store and process data efficiently.
