A Profound Waste of Time is a British contemporary video game magazine. Crowdfunded through Kickstarters, the magazine is self-published by freelance graphic designer Caspian Whistler. The campaign for the first issue in 2016 raised £39,000; four issues have been published, and a fifth is being crowdfunded. A Profound Waste of Time has received positive reviews from journalists. ()
