In addition to expanding the database to include around 300 magazines and journals in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, we have made some changes to the structure and performance. Additional functions and media entries are currently in preparation and will be rolled out with the next regular update.

The 2022 version of our media & PR database is now online. In addition to some changes in the data structure and performance, more than 300 additional magazines have been added, among other things. In total, more than 12,500 media in the DACH region and 140,000 media worldwide are now available.

From January 2022 onwards, we will publish regular short reports on our blog about the recent startup activity in Germany, about changes in both our Entrepreneurship and Media & PR databases, and about current topics from a statistical perspective - e.g. the Corona pandemic.

In our changelogs you will find the number of changes as well as the number of new database entries, and a visualization using graphs to track the development (see our Corona Dashboard).

For a large part of the entries contained in our Media & PR Database, tags & topics are now available, which can be used to filter the media by topic. In total, you can choose from around 250 topics and find the right media for your needs even faster.

Filtering by tag / topic is also available for combined filtering or search queries, for example, when searching for the topic "Environment" in country "Germany" in type "Magazine / Journal".

In addition, it is now possible to find suitable media from over 1,100 public lists for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

Thanks to the new field search function in the respective drop-down fields, a few letters or a word component is sufficient to locate and select suitable lists or tags / topics.

The tag or topic database as well as the public lists will be expanded in the future and extended to all entries.

By importing further media, especially magazines & journals, the number of media contained in DACH has now increased to around 11,500 media outlets in Germany, Austria, Switzerland.
